We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:
Tier 2 SOC Cybersecurity Analyst: Monitor and analyze security alerts, conduct investigations, and respond to incidents. Requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with security tools.
Software Developer (Security Tools): Develop and maintain custom security tools and applications. Requires strong programming skills and knowledge of cybersecurity principles.

Tier 2 SOC Analysis
The Tier 2 SOC Analyst is an integral member of WNEsecurity’s SOC team, responsible for the detection, investigation, and remediation of security threats. With a deep understanding of advanced threats and a keen analytical mind, this role works to ensure that our clients’ digital environments are secured against sophisticated cyber attacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Detection & Analysis: Monitor, detect, and analyze suspicious activities, ensuring that genuine threats are identified while minimizing false positives.
- Incident Response: Lead incident response activities for escalated issues, collaborating with Tier 1 analysts and guiding them through complex threat scenarios.
- Threat Intelligence: Utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay updated with the latest attack vectors and vulnerabilities. Adapt this knowledge to enhance detection capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and fine-tune security monitoring rules based on the evolving threat landscape. Provide recommendations for improving detection and response processes.
- Knowledge Transfer: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor Tier 1 analysts, enhancing the overall capability of the SOC team.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients, presenting complex security incidents in a comprehensible manner and recommending remediation strategies.
- Tool Management: Oversee the effective utilization and maintenance of security tools and platforms, ensuring they are calibrated for optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of security incidents, investigations, and lessons learned to inform future strategy and compliance reporting.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications like CISSP, CEH, or GCIA are a plus.
- Minimum of [X years] experience in a SOC environment, with a proven track record in threat detection and incident response.

Software Developer
Summary:
As a Java Programmer at WNEsecurity, you’ll be at the forefront of developing robust and scalable applications that power our suite of cybersecurity solutions. Your expertise will drive the creation and enhancement of tools that safeguard our clients’ digital environments against advanced cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and implement Java applications that meet business requirements and WNEsecurity’s standards of quality and performance.
Code Optimization: Constantly optimize the application codebase to ensure efficiency, readability, and maintainability. Ensure applications are free from common vulnerabilities and security pitfalls.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and the meeting of requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Java development, recommending and implementing improvements to our applications.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of applications, ensuring bugs and issues are identified and addressed before deployment.
Documentation: Document application workflows, codebases, and user manuals to guide both end-users and technical teams in the usage and maintenance of the tools.
Support & Maintenance: Provide post-launch support for applications, addressing any issues that arise and implementing patches and updates as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of [X years] experience in Java programming, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or others relevant to your operations.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
